The month of December can be a very happy time of year with Christmas fast approaching, for some its the complete opposite. 4 million children live in poverty across the UK. For these families Christmas is a luxury they cant afford.
The cash for Kids Appeal is a local charity for the benefit of local Children and with this in mind i’am sure we can play a part as a club and get involved to support this great Appeal.http://www.northsound1.com/charity/mission-christmas/
The Thought : At one of your training sessions starting next week if you theme it as Santa Hat/Christmas Jumper night. Your Players and Coaches wear a Santa hat or Christmas Jumper at training in return each Player and Coach donates £2 into the pot. It doesn’t get much simpler than that, a wee bit of fun for a small donation that can make a huge difference to someones Christmas. if every player and Coach donates a minimum of £2, we can be handing over to the Cash for Kids fund near £600
We will also do a bucket Collection at the Deveronvale v Rothes match on Saturday 17th December. Anyone willing to lend a hand on the day to collect Before and after the match i’d much appreciate it, Coaches, Players and Parents. just let me know thanks.
So look out your Christmas Jumpers/Santa hats, have fun and make a difference.
Remember to take a Photo of your teams at training and email them to me, If you can collect in all donations and hand them into myself by Monday 19th December that would be great.
