Deveron Valley Eggs
Formed in 2010, the egg production division of the business has continued to grow. We are now a leader in our field, producing over 250,000 eggs a day. The business has spent over 12 million pounds developing the highest quality, welfare friendly systems.
We are working towards a totally integrated and balanced farming business, we are taking eggs from ‘farm to fork.’ Using most of the grain grown on our own farms as raw materials to make the bird's feed, and then, in turn utilising all the manure produced by the hens back onto on our own land for fertiliser.
Whilst the majority of our eggs are sold to Noble Foods into supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda. Deveron Valley Eggs is the brand name for the eggs marketed directly by Duncan Farms Limited.
Deveron Valley Eggs currently provide Enriched Colony Eggs, all of which are compliant with UK and EU assurance schemes including Lion Code and British Retail Consortium (BRC).
Local restaurants, farm shops and retailers are supplied by Deveron Valley Eggs.
We offer tailor made packages to suit your own requirements. Orders can be made for your collection, or a delivery service direct to your business premises is available.

Strachan Pharmacy is a family run business. John Strachan qualified as a pharmacist in 1993 with a BSc (Honours) and then took a further degree in Clinical Pharmacy providing an MSc (Clinical Pharmacy) in 2003.
The Turriff Pharmacy branch was bought in 2003 and we have seen exponential growth in business over the period. Alastair Wright (MPharm) is the full time pharmacist here.
In 2010 John Strachan was awarded the Community Care Award for Scotland for services provided. It was a patient nominated award which made it even more significant. Strachan Pharmacy in Turriff was among the first pharmacies in the UK to carry out Private Flu Vaccinations. This has now been extended to Occupational Health and our reputation has grown through this. Two re-fits over recent years has seen the pharmacy modernize with a gift department, private consulting room and automatic doors.
The Banff branch of Strachan Pharmacy was bought in September 2012. a very unique pharmacy comprising 3 floors and providing a coffee shop (Munch Coffee Shop), two Beauty Salons (Glamour Beauty), a perfumery, gift shop, dispensary, consulting room and front shop. Emma Lindsay (MPharm) is the full time pharmacist here and has been so since 2010. Already we have seen much growth in all departments with exciting re-fits planned for the near future.
We sponsor local football teams Turriff United FC, Cuminestown FC and Deveronvale FC. Also we have a special interest in a local charity “The Talking Banffie and Turra Talk” two local newspapers for the blind whom we provide financial support.
